Hi, I’m Sandy, the designer and creative heart behind Designs by Sandiva LLC. My journey into wreath making began in 2014, during one of the most difficult seasons of my life. My father’s health had worsened due to Parkinson’s and dementia, and while he was living in a nursing home, I visited him every day. I wanted to bring a little more joy, warmth, and beauty into his room, so I began making him a wreath for every holiday and season. What started as a simple expression of love became something neither of us could have imagined. My dad was my biggest cheerleader. Seeing the joy on his face each time I brought him a new wreath filled my heart in a way I will never forget. Other residents and visitors began noticing his wreaths and asking where he had purchased them. He would stick out his chest with pride and say, “My daughter made it for me.”Before I knew it, people began asking me to make wreaths for them too. Requests turned into orders, and I realized that something very special had unexpectedly landed in my lap. I began researching, practicing, and learning everything I could about the art of wreath making. Even today, I continue learning, experimenting, and perfecting my craft with every design I create. Sadly, I lost my dad in 2016, but the gift he unknowingly helped me discover has remained with me.Through that experience, I learned something I carry with me to this day: even in the chaos of life and its unexpected turns, there can be a blessing waiting to be discovered. I tried other ventures along the way, but God always seemed to lead me right back to designing. Eventually, I understood that this wasn't something I wanted to walk away from. Creating beautiful pieces for other people's homes had become part of my story. Today, Designs by Sandiva LLC creates handcrafted statement wreaths and seasonal décor designed to make a home feel beautiful, welcoming, and memorable. I carefully select the ribbons, florals, greenery, focal pieces, and finishing details that give each design its own personality. When you purchase one of my wreaths, you're receiving more than seasonal décor. You're receiving a piece that was created from a passion that began with a daughter simply wanting to bring a little joy to her father.
